bits of autumn

I needed to add some bits of Autumn to the house to help us power through this last month or so of temps in the 90's & 100's. The heat can really start to get to you this time of year. Adding reminders of the beautiful Fall and Winter that lies ahead makes it a little easier to bare.

I did this on a budget too. I bought a bag of mini pumpkins in a variety of colors for $4.99, two extra white pumpkins for 79 cents each, and a bundle of leaves for $3.99. I'm going to add some book page leaves here and there over the next couple of weeks as well. The total for my fall decor with stay under $15!

I like my holiday decor to blend in with the current color scheme in my house, no red and green Christmas here. These pumpkins blend in quite nice and add just the right about of Fall cheer!
