This weekend we rearranged the house. Like the WHOLE house.
Matt is working in an office now after working from home for two years so I took over his old office! It was actually my office first so technically I just took it back ;) We also moved Bailey's art area to her playroom, set up a small home office for Matt in her old art area, cleaned out the garage, and all the closets and cabinets. This allowed us to set up the formal living/dining space to look like a real home instead of the vintage hoarding disaster it has been. All my hoard is now displayed beautifully on shelves, hiding away in large vintage trunks, or on shelving in the garage.
It feels great to have a totally clean, organized home again. I'm really excited to not have to explain my job to everyone that comes to the front door thinking we are either moving in, moving out, or just plain crazy.
The space above is inspiring me because I am on a mission now to collect a bunch of cheap vintage mismatched chairs for two tables now in the front rooms of our home. I searching for this same eclectic look for the space.
